Quote of the Day: “If you think education is expensive — try ignorance.”

with one comment

If you think education is expensive — try ignorance.

While this quote is generally attributed to Derek Bok, former President of Harvard University, evidence suggests that it first came from Ann Landers (Eppie Lederer).  While it was a very popular quote in the 1980’s, being on bumper stickers, it is still quite relevant today… Although, one must be careful with the logic of the argument, because education can potentially be made less expensive without having more ignorance.
