Thought of the Day: The secret to success is simple…

with one comment

The secret to success is simple: help enough people achieve their dreams and you automatically receive what you want.

Picture about Success with Heald College, from the curriculum of Teri TossponI found this quote today from Foster Thomas of Corinthian Colleges (CCI), when I was going through part of my New Employee Orientation online course for Heald College Online.   I share Foster’s view of my own personal success, as my personal mission statement has been: “To Empower Humanity, such that We All may Thrive”

I also appreciate the Values espoused by CCI:

  • Live with Integrity
  • Pursue Excellence
  • Serve Others
  • Be Accountable

Just starting with Heald College Online, I already feel a comradery with my colleagues, that we are working towards this goal of serving students and serving humanity, and I can see that they take seriously the values espoused by CCI.  While I know first-hand that living these values is difficult, and I would be naive to not think I will be let down at times, or falter myself, it is good that CCI works to have these values be the foundation of the organization.
